Pimp My Stroller at the Crafty Market!
The Hidden Teapot can't wait for the Crafty Christmas Market where we'll be welcoming the talents of Pimp My Stroller who'll be making their Teapot debut! They make hip, handmade toy strollers for kids with style. Their collection includes eye popping fabrics and every one is unique, which is what the Teapot events are all about!

Call to Creatives!
Hello Teapots
The Beckenham Crafty Christmas Market is but a few weeks away and we have a few spaces left for those creative genius's amongst you that would like to join us!
The Hidden Teapot have always had a great response to its events in BR3 and this event promises even better bigger and better!
If you are a designer-maker or artist and have products you think would make great gifts then get in touch at thehiddenteapot@gmail.com
As always, we aim to keep stall fees as low as possible so it's great value for money.

How you doing? Exciting news – The Hidden Teapot is back in Beckenham for a Crafty Christmas Market! It promises to be bigger and better than ever with a host of talented designers and artisans selling a wonderful array of gifts galore!
Better still, we'll be joined by Ms Harriet Eaves, Jazz vocalist and general, glamorous goddess! So not only will you be able to browse, relax with a mince pie you'll be able to enjoy the vocal talents of Ms Eaves as she performs Christmas classics and well-known covers.
Keep an eye on this page in the coming weeks as we'll be showcasing some of our artisans and bringing you up-to-date news about the event. If you can't wait until November, and frankly, who could blame you, catch a preview of the talents of Ms Eaves here: http://www.harrieteaves.co.uk

Love London, Love Penge
Love where you live? Then what better way to express this than having a cool cushion, one that proudly shouts your postcode!
Area code cushions are one of Miss SoS's creations and are available in various locations throughout south London. Most recently she made a delivery to the wonderful Alexandra Nurseries in Penge, SE20 - http://www.alexandranurseries.co.uk
Nestled in the conservation area of the Alexandra cottages, this wonderful oasis is a fusion of nature, vintage and a marvellous cafe selling amazing coffee and delicious home-baked cakes. The coffee alone is reason enough to visit if you have yet to check it out.
Miss SoS is soon to launch a dedicated e-commerce site where you will be able to order your own Area code cushions, which are entirely hand cut and hand made. Each one is unique and made in Miss SoS's studio. However, if you can't wait that long then get in touch with Miss SoS and she will endeavour to make one that fits your requirements.

Hello Teapots
So how has the new year been treating you so far? Very well I hope.
Although the start to the year has been a little wet around the edges, it's proving to be a promising time as far as the Teapot is concerned. We have our (chocolate) fingers in quite a few pies and as the year develops we're confident that our creative partnerships will flourish and thrive.
We're planning more Hidden Teapot events and workshops and as always our creative collaborations with local artisans and organisations are at the forefront of our plans. If you would like to get involved with the Teapot or have an idea you would like to share do get in touch with Miss SoS.

Mothering Sunday at the Secret Tea-room
Hey teapots
What better way to treat your mum than to share an afternoon tea with home-baked scones, locally made jams and gorgeous cakes. On Sunday 10 March, Miss SoS and friends will be hosting a Vintage tea in honour of our mothers and those that are like mothers to us. There will be live acoustic music, poetry reading and the amazing atmosphere the Secret Tea-room is becoming known for.
Bookings are available from 12.30 through to 5pm. There will be 2 musical sets and poetry reading in-between. See the flyer below for more info.
The Valentine tea was a massive hit so to avoid disappointment it is best to book.

Vintage Valentine....

Ah, that time is approaching once again. The time of love, dreams and... overpriced flowers! Whatever.
If you love cake then The Secret Tea-Room invites you to our Valentine tea on Sunday 17 February. Bring your mum, bring your friend, bring yourself! You don't need to be loved-up to love our tea and cake. We'll be offering a selection of delicious cakes, refreshing teas and dainty sandwiches. Want a glimpse into the future? Then treat yourself to a mini tarot reading. Fiona will be available on the day to offer her mystical services. Tea and Tarot, perfect.
Booking will be essential. Email Miss SoS: thehiddenteapot@gmail.com to reserve your place. Seating is available from midday and the last sitting is at 4.30pm. At £10 per head there's no overpriced hoodwinking going on either!
